All about Myles Erwin


Born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. Myles' first encounter with photography was at a young age. His Father, Louis Erwin, shot sports images for New Mexico State University. Myles has many fond memories of carring his Dad's bag around for him either on the football field or on the Basketball Court.

It wasn't until much later that Myles took a personal interest in Photography. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he inhereted his Grandfather's Canon AE-1 Program and Lenses. So, he embarked on his first journey into the realm of photography. Throwing caution to the wind he learned the basics of camera operation in order to aquire a decent exposure. He greatly enjoyed using his camera to document his travels abroad while serving his country.

Once his time was finished in the US Navy, he returned to his hometown. He began school at NMSU pursuing a degree in Music business. However, God had a different plan for Myles. He left school for a brief time to help with a family business. He later asked the girl of his dreams- Amy, to take his hand in Marriage. During this time he began a career with Bowlin Travel Centers, Inc. He is currently employed there as the Marketing Manager. His responsibilities include all Product Photography, Graphic Design, and anything else that will help promote the products sold in there stores.

Myles currently resides in his hometown of Las Cruces, NM. He is finishing up a Degree in Digital Graphics Technology. He and his wife Amy have one three year old Son- Matthew. He continues to pursue his passion for photography and graphic design every chance he gets.
